Location: Breckenridge, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency and med-surg care to patients in a supportive rural setting
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver timely interventions in a Level IV trauma, STEMI receiving, and stroke-designated facility
Float between ER and Med/Surg Swing beds to broaden your clinical experience and impact more patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret your own strips using state-of-the-art Mindray equipment
Support patients through every stage of care, from fast-paced trauma bays to comfortable swing-bed recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of ER experience plus previous Med/Surg experience
Comfortable working in a small, close-knit facility with 4 beds and 2 trauma bays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
Ability to manage vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen independently
Experience floating between ER and Med/Surg units
Excellent communication and teamwork in a rural healthcare setting
