Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to ER patients
• Triage and assess patients quickly to prioritize care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
• Coordinate with physicians, techs, and support staff to deliver efficient care
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans
• Respond to emergencies calmly and execute life-saving protocols as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Professional communication and teamwork mindset
• Prior ER experience preferred but motivated new ER nurses welcome to apply

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency nursing principles
• ACLS/BLS protocols and emergency response
• IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Ability to prioritize multiple patients and interventions
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered care approach
