Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM with some charge responsibilities after hours

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in the cardiovascular operating room performing open heart and vascular procedures
Assist anesthesia with induction and ensure smooth patient transitions from pre-op to PACU or inpatient units
Support both open and percutaneous vascular procedures in a hybrid operating suite environment
Float to Main OR on lower volume days to support the broader surgical team
Fulfill charge responsibilities during designated after-hours periods
Provide compassionate, expert care to patients undergoing complex cardiac and vascular surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certification required
CNOR certification preferred
Strong cardiovascular OR experience strongly preferred
Ability to scrub and circulate in CVOR procedures
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Open heart procedures expertise
Vascular procedure knowledge including both open and percutaneous techniques
Hybrid operating suite familiarity beneficial
Strong teamwork and adaptability when floating to other ORs
Excellent communication during high-acuity surgical cases
