Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized one-on-one care to complex cardiac surgery patients including open heart, thoracic, and vascular cases
Monitor and titrate critical drips such as vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Interpret telemetry and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Support patients on advanced therapies including Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO
Collaborate with intensivists and hospitalists who are in-house 24/7 for seamless care delivery
Float to other inpatient units as needed while maintaining excellence in every assignment

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS, ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience with this patient population
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm radius compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and arrhythmia recognition
Titration of critical care drips
Management of Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO patients
Open communication and teamwork in a fast-paced ICU environment
