Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients
• Monitor and manage advanced cardiac devices including IABP, Impella, CRRT, ECMO, Centrimag, and HM3 LVAD
• Assist with central line insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter insertion, and intubations
• Collaborate with a strong team of nurses and 24/7 intensivist support
• Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in a 16-bed CVICU

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience, including CVICU
• Experience with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and PA catheter management
• Experience with IABP, Impella, CRRT, ECMO, Centrimag, and HM3 LVAD preferred
• Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
