Roles & Responsibilities

• Titrate cardiac drips with precision and confidence to keep patients stable and comfortable
• Master the art of cath lab recovery, including sheath removal and vigilant site monitoring
• Deliver compassionate stepdown care to cardiac patients, treating every person like family
• Partner with the care team to craft individualized plans that get patients back on their feet
• Keep detailed, accurate records in Paragon so nothing slips through the cracks

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac drip titration and cath lab recovery is a must
• Med/Surg knowledge and skill in monitoring post-procedure sites

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac PCU/Stepdown care
• Cath lab recovery and observation unit experience
• Cardiac drip titration
• Sheath pulling and site monitoring
• General med/surg patient management
• Proficiency with Paragon charting system
