Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists with patient preparation and room setup
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Support dental procedures by handing instruments and managing supplies
• Document patient care and update treatment records
• Ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or license in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience assisting dental hygienists in a clinical setting
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental care team
• Commitment to patient comfort and high-quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
