Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and patient assessments
• Take and develop X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices
• Assist dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in the state of Maryland
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in dental radiography (X-rays)
• Strong interpersonal and patient-education skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
