Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a safe environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Provide patients with clear instructions and compassionate care
• Manage patient records and update charts accurately
• Help maintain inventory and order supplies as necessary

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working in orthodontics is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Knowledge of dental software, particularly Denticon, is a bonus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency with dental radiography (X-ray) equipment
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
