Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed). Orientation required beginning 04/08/2026.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health nursing care across the unit
Assess, monitor, and document patient status and response to interventions
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans
Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques to support patients
Participate actively in orientation and ongoing learning to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional behavioral health certifications a plus
Comfort working in a behavioral health setting with strong communication and de-escalation skills
Reliable, professional, and a team player who contributes to a positive workplace culture

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational knowledge of psychiatric and behavioral health nursing principles
Medication administration and monitoring in a behavioral health setting
Skilled in therapeutic communication and patient de-escalation
Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
Strong teamwork, problem solving, and situational awareness
