Roles & Responsibilities

Provide top-notch clinical services alongside providers and staff to deliver excellent patient care
Lead clinic operations from front desk to patient care ensuring smooth and efficient flow
Maintain medication inventory and supplies with precision
Perform quality control checks on Point of Care tests
Document all care meticulously and complete nurse duties professionally
Oversee opening and closing of provider clinics seamlessly
Assist providers proactively to anticipate needs and enhance patient outcomes
Communicate effectively across departments as a vital team resource

Qualifications

Current full unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska (or apply before start for direct hire)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
Clinical Competency Assessment - SEARHC within 3 months and every three years
High Risk Competency - SEARHC within 3 months and every year
1 year of acute care experience preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing process applied in real-world settings
Customer service principles to build strong patient relationships
Safety and infection control principles for a secure environment
Completing assessments, anticipating needs, and specimen collection
Proficient use of computers and medical equipment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Multi-tasking and independent work in fast-paced clinics
Team collaboration, teaching, problem-solving, and critical thinking
