Shift Type: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to med-surg patients on a 34-bed unit
Manage patient ratios of 6:1 while prioritizing safety and quality
Collaborate with unit secretaries and PCTs across all shifts
Document accurately using Meditech system
Float to other departments as needed to support the team
Contribute to patient experience in a Level 1 trauma and stroke center

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing
BLS certification required
At least 2 years of med-surg nursing experience
Ready to thrive in a dynamic hospital environment

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong med-surg nursing fundamentals
Proficiency with Meditech documentation
Excellent patient assessment and care skills
Team collaboration in fast-paced units
Adaptability to floating and varied shifts
