Roles & Responsibilities

Accurately perform echocardiogram studies including Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler, Transesophageal, Exercise stress and pharmacological echocardiography
Conduct EKG, Holter prep, monitoring, analysis and Cardiac stress tests with precision
Utilize echocardiographs, cardiac stress systems, electrocardiographs, Holter monitors and computer analysis to deliver top diagnostic insights
Assess hospital systems for seamless scheduling, processing and charging
Apply infection control practices and aseptic techniques flawlessly
Guide students from colleges and universities as a preceptorship pro
Deliver age-specific cardiac tests for neonatal and pediatric patients with expertise

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Basic Life Support certification
Registered Cardiac Sonographer
Successful completion of certification program and/or two years hands-on experience with echocardiography
Preferred: Extensive experience in echocardiography studies in a hospital setting, including pediatric and neonatal

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Certificate Program in Cardiovascular Sonography
