Roles & Responsibilities

Perform all general diagnostic radiographic and CT exams with precision and care
Operate CT and X-ray equipment like a pro
Prepare and administer contrast media including IV injections
Ensure top-notch quality control and uphold core values
Support the service excellence mission of the team

Qualifications

Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology from California Department of Health Services
Approved CPR certification
ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire
Desired: Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification
Desired: Advanced certification in CT

Education

Two years experience in diagnostic x-ray desired
One year experience in CT desired

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough grasp of cross sectional anatomy, patient care, and positioning
Expertise in radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, protection, and radiobiology
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with specialized CT techniques
