Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver quality and efficient radiologic procedures for accurate diagnostic interpretation
Practice radiation safety while adhering to ALARA standards and protecting patients
Perform imaging exams following department protocols or collaborating with Radiologists
Provide patient education, verify orders, and ensure proper documentation
Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and manage supply inventory
Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and cross-training team members
Take call, work overtime, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere

Qualifications

ARRT registration in Radiology (R) plus at least one additional registry such as CT, MR, M, N, S, or equivalent ARDMS/NMTCB certifications (or eligible to obtain within 1 year)
Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days)
Prior experience as a practicing Technologist preferred, with encouragement to cross-train
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and employee health requirements

Education

At least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions)
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced knowledge of imaging procedures across multiple modalities
Radiation safety and ALARA standards
Equipment operation per manufacturer guidelines
Quality control (QC) processes
PACS, RIS/HIS, and Microsoft Office proficiency
Effective communication and patient care skills
Independent judgment with minimal supervision
