Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with attention to patient safety and comfort
Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment while following radiation safety protocols
Position patients accurately and apply appropriate imaging techniques to capture high-quality images
Maintain clear, accurate patient records and document procedures in the chart/EHR
Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and physicians to support efficient patient care
Participate in orientation and training activities as required by the facility

Qualifications

State radiologic technologist licensure (or eligibility) — ensure you meet Missouri requirements
ARRT certification or equivalent credentials (preferred/typical for this role)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous radiology/rad tech clinical experience preferred
Strong patient care skills and attention to detail

Education

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient positioning
Familiarity with radiation safety principles and infection control
Ability to operate digital imaging equipment and PACS systems
Good communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital or clinic environment
