Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shifts, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, varied days including weekends and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional inpatient physical therapy to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and med/surg patients
Utilize cutting-edge equipment like treatment beds, treadmills, and resistance bands to maximize patient recovery
Collaborate with a dynamic team of therapists, assistants, and directors in a 42-bed IP Rehab unit
Document progress using Meditech EMR to ensure seamless patient care
Adapt treatments to patient volume and needs, making a real difference every day

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license
BLS certification
At least 2 years of experience, including 1 year current in hospital acute care, IP Rehab, or SNF
DPT preferred for those ready to shine
Compassionate team player with excellent time management

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking in fast-paced rehab environments
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Expertise in inpatient rehab for diverse patient populations
Technological savvy with rehab equipment
Strong patient care and communication skills
