Paramedic – UHC Staffing

Paramedic

Location: Breckenridge, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 24 hours on, 24 hours on-call (10 minutes response), 96 hours off; rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide professional and compassionate care to patients of all ages in pre-hospital and hospital settings
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
Administer medications following the five patient rights and standing orders
Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments and ensure smooth transfers
Supervise EMTs and maintain safety for staff and bystanders
Adjust workload and staffing needs as situations evolve

Qualifications

Active Paramedic License with Minnesota license required
NREMT-P certification
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
ND license or compact license with proof of privilege to practice
ALS level of care experience
Preferred intubation experience

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and individualized care planning
Medication administration and drip titration
Equipment operation including CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators
Documentation and timely communication during transfers
Standing orders and state guideline adherence
