Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare patients for treatment, helping them feel comfortable and informed
• Take dental X-rays and impressions with precision and care
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments to maintain a clean, safe environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Schedule patient appointments and manage front-office duties with a smile

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
• Active X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and instrument handling
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Skill in taking digital X-rays and impressions
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Compassionate and patient-focused personality
