Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Focus on patient comfort and education without the need to take X-rays or perform exams
• Manage a half-hour patient schedule efficiently to keep things moving smoothly
• Work alongside a dedicated dental assistant who handles support tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
• Document patient care and oral health observations accurately

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and instrumentation
• Skill in patient education and oral hygiene instruction
• Ability to collaborate effectively with dental assistants and other staff
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
