Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
• Collaborate with the dental team and your dedicated assistant to ensure efficient, high-quality visits
• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare treatment rooms
• Focus on patient comfort and satisfaction during 30-minute appointments
• Assist with patient flow and support the dentist as needed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced practice
• Comfortable working with an assistant and using modern dental technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Skill in patient education and motivational interviewing
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Teamwork and collaboration with dental assistants and hygienists
• Time management to keep appointments on schedule
