Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep patients smiling
• Take and review dental x-rays to spot issues early
• Document patient care and treatment plans with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
• Assist the dentist during procedures for smooth and comfortable visits
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of dental regulations and best practices
• Excellent patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental software and radiography equipment
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and instruments
• Skill in building rapport with patients of all ages
• Attention to detail and strict observance of infection control standards
