Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings to keep smiles bright
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision
• Screen patients for oral conditions and report findings to the dentist
• Provide personalized oral hygiene education to patients
• Prepare and maintain operatory areas with strict sterilization protocols
• Assist with dental treatments and procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and instrumentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring bedside manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and periodontal disease
• Skilled in patient assessment and charting
• Familiar with dental X-ray equipment and safety protocols
• Detail-oriented with meticulous attention to infection control
• Effective communicator who puts patients at ease
