Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, from patient prep to clean-up, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintaining a safe and spotless treatment environment
• Take dental impressions, pour models, and mount X-rays as directed by the orthodontist
• Help patients feel at ease before, during, and after treatment with a warm, friendly approach
• Record and update patient charts accurately in the Denticon system

Qualifications

• Current orthodontic assistant certification is required
• Hands-on experience in an orthodontic or dental setting is a plus
• Comfort using dental software, especially Denticon, is a bonus
• Strong commitment to patient safety and infection control
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols
• Skill in taking dental impressions and capturing quality radiographs
• Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Denticon
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and team members
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
