Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and identify barriers to independence using professional judgment and clinical expertise
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patient progress and safe return to daily activities
• Manage a diverse caseload independently across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions and adaptive strategies to improve quality of life
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, home programs, and community resources
• Participate in continuous professional learning and contribute to clinical program improvement

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist License in good standing
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• 2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings preferred
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and general computer skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Compliance with California OT regulatory requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
