Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Radiology
Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform stress tests, PYP scans, and HIDA scans that directly impact patient care
- Operate advanced Siemens equipment to deliver precise diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate with a close-knit team in a supportive family atmosphere
- Document procedures accurately using Meditech and Synapse systems
- Contribute to a 72-bed specialty hospital focused on cardiac excellence
Qualifications
- Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification and state licensure
- Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
- Comfortable working independently on a small, dedicated team
- Experience with Siemens equipment and EMR systems preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac nuclear medicine procedures
- Familiarity with stress tests, PYP, and HIDA scans
- Ability to work confidently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and patient safety focus
