Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on healthcare plans and post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maryland (or compact if applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care standards and best practices
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Compassionate approach to patient-centered care
