Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to patients in a skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with a strong focus on safety and accuracy
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-care instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maine or a compact state privilege required
• Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
• COVID-19 vaccination (original or updated) or documented medical/religious exemption required
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
• Comfortable working night shift hours and adapting to changing assignments
• Must be able to pass a background check and meet facility compliance requirements
