Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable days, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients during night shifts
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to facility policy
Perform timely assessments, document findings, and communicate changes in condition
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers during your shift
Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation and charting

Qualifications

Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Pennsylvania (or compact/state-appropriate)
Basic life support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or able to obtain
Prior LPN clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts
Willingness to work per-diem schedule and adapt to facility protocols

Education

LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
Current PA LPN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate charting
Patient assessment and basic nursing interventions
Familiarity with common nursing equipment and bedside care routines
Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and documenting care
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced night-shift environment
Team-oriented attitude and strong patient advocacy
