Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Bloomfield Nursing and Rehab
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes promptly
Document care thoroughly in the clinical record to ensure continuity
Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize resident outcomes
Educate residents and families with clear, respectful communication about care plans

Qualifications

Current LPN license (required) — ability to practice in New Mexico preferred
BLS/CPR certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain
Comfort and experience working overnight shifts (Tuesday-Thursday)
Strong clinical judgment, reliable documentation skills, and a team-oriented mindset
Local candidate only as this is a local contract position

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and safe injection techniques
Wound care and basic dressing changes
Assessment of vital signs and identification of clinical changes
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Infection control best practices and resident safety
Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
