Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
- Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling with dignity and respect
- Support mealtime and personal hygiene needs while promoting independence
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Contribute to a warm, safe environment that promotes resident comfort and wellbeing
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfort working with older adults and supporting activities of daily living
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved GNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and resident-centered care
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Accurate documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nursing staff
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with seniors and families
