Location: Brooklyn Park, MD
Contract Type: Per-Diem

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents with dignity
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support safe meal service and assist with feeding as needed
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely in resident records
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Comfort working with older adults and supporting their daily needs
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing support skills and resident care techniques
- Ability to take and record vital signs and report findings
- Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience when supporting seniors
- Reliable documentation and time-management skills
