Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Start Date: 09-07-2026
End Date: 12-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, with 8-hour, 10-hour, or 16-hour shift options; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed upon assignment (deferred schedule).
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
- Function as a key member of a Level 1 trauma team
- Triage patients based on acuity and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency department
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to stabilize critical patients
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 4 years of well-rounded emergency department experience with both adult and pediatric patients
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
- Previous Level 1 trauma center or large facility experience preferred
- Conditional compliance allowed for credentialing proven to be in process
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced knowledge of emergency nursing principles and protocols
- Proficient in adult and pediatric emergency care
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center (preferred)
