Location: Atlanta, GA

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, with 8-hour, 10-hour, or 16-hour shift options; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed upon assignment (deferred schedule).

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
  • Function as a key member of a Level 1 trauma team
  • Triage patients based on acuity and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency department
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to stabilize critical patients
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 4 years of well-rounded emergency department experience with both adult and pediatric patients
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
  • Previous Level 1 trauma center or large facility experience preferred
  • Conditional compliance allowed for credentialing proven to be in process

Knowledge & Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of emergency nursing principles and protocols
  • Proficient in adult and pediatric emergency care
  • Strong critical thinking and triage skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center (preferred)
