Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings and examinations
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques to promote long-term dental health
• Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, following infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the dental team to create personalized treatment plans

Qualifications

• Active Virginia dental hygiene license or compact eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a dental office setting (new grads welcome!)
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret dental X-rays
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
