Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and oral hygiene instructions
• Take and interpret dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral health and home care techniques
• Assist dentists during procedures and ensure a comfortable patient experience
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure sterilization of equipment
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Knowledge of dental software and record-keeping
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of infection control protocols
