Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Assess patient oral health and document findings for the dentist
• Take and process dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Assist the dentist during procedures when needed
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in dental hygiene preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
• A passion for patient care and education

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene instruments and procedures
• Understanding of radiography safety and X-ray techniques
• Strong communication and patient-interaction skills
• Familiarity with infection control protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
