Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and exams
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive practices
• Take and interpret dental X-rays to support diagnosis
• Document patient care with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with dentists to create personalized treatment plans
• Maintain a sterile, welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (required)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene (or equivalent)
• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Experience with dental software and digital X-rays is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Skilled in patient assessment and chairside manner
• Familiarity with OSHA and infection control standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
