Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including thorough cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Educate patients on preventive oral health practices to support long-term wellness
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Partner with the dental team to create a comfortable, positive patient experience
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold rigorous infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first approach
• Prior experience in a clinical dental setting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and preventative care
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs and using dental software
• Understanding of state regulations and infection control protocols
• Compassionate patient communication and chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice
