Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist with patient care and preparation
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental x-rays and perform other diagnostic procedures as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Document and update patient records accurately

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required
• Maryland dental radiographer or x-ray certification preferred
• Experience as a dental assistant or hygienist assistant is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with sterilization techniques and dental equipment
• Proficiency in patient management and chairside assistance
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental environment
