Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care to pediatric patients
• Perform thorough cleanings and oral health assessments
• Empower patients and families with education on proper oral hygiene
• Collaborate with dentists to create personalized treatment plans
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for young patients
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Dental Hygienist license required
• Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to build rapport with children and their families

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of pediatric oral health needs
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and infection control standards
