Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures and ensure their comfort throughout treatment
- Assist the orthodontist during exams and adjustments
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software
Qualifications
- Orthodontic Assistant Certification required
- Experience in dental assisting preferred
- Proficiency with Denticon dental software
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with dental office workflows
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
