Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments and document findings
• Provide exceptional patient care through prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with dental regulations

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New York
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• New graduates welcome - we provide mentorship
• Excellent communication and patient rapport
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Working knowledge of digital radiography and dental software
• Strong understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Patient education and preventive care expertise
• Team collaboration and time management skills
