Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and patient education
• Perform thorough periodontal assessments and chart patient oral health
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques to promote long-term wellness
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and a friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work the 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM shift
• Previous dental hygiene experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Skilled in patient assessment, charting, and radiography
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Proficient with dental software and electronic health records
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building patient trust
