Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient examinations, adjustments, and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Take accurate dental X-rays, impressions, and photographs to aid in treatment planning
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and oral hygiene to keep those smiles healthy
• Manage inventory and support front desk duties as needed to keep the office running smoothly
• Deliver excellent patient care that makes every patient feel at ease

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (as required by the office)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience as a dental assistant in an orthodontic setting is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly chairside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Comfort using dental practice management software like Denticon
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Attention to detail and a professional, compassionate approach
