Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain patient records and update charts
• Support a friendly and efficient office environment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or willingness to obtain
• X-ray certification (RHS) or ability to acquire
• Previous orthodontic experience preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Knowledge of dental software for scheduling and records
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and organization
• Team player with a positive attitude
