Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Document patient care and update treatment plans accurately
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Screen patients for oral diseases and report findings to the dentist

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Experience in a clinical dental setting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilizations techniques
• Proficiency with dental software and patient record management
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
• Ability to work efficiently during evening shifts
