Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding dental hygiene care by performing cleanings and assessments
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and prevention strategies
• Take and develop digital x-rays with accuracy and care
• Assist dentists during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
• Maintain thorough patient records and ensure a clean, welcoming clinical environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver a positive experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Radiography (x-ray) certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of oral health, disease prevention, and hygiene procedures
• Proficiency with dental instruments, x-ray equipment, and patient documentation
• Excellent communication skills for educating and connecting with patients
• Attention to detail and strict adherence to infection control protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
