Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy with a gentle touch
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care to promote lifelong dental health
• Capture and process dental X-rays while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Partner with the dentist to deliver exceptional patient care and support treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure exam rooms are sterilized and ready
• Provide outstanding patient experiences by addressing questions and easing anxiety

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in dental hygiene preferred, but new grads with clinical training are welcome to apply
• Strong commitment to infection control and patient safety
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in dental radiography (X-ray) and digital imaging
• Familiarity with dental practice management software and patient charting
• Understanding of oral health assessments, periodontal disease, and preventive care
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
