Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring safety and accuracy
• Monitor patient conditions, document changes, and report concerns promptly
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Maine, or compact state license where applicable
• Current BLS CPR certification
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption
• A valid state or federally issued photo ID for badging
• New graduates and experienced nurses are both encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and patient monitoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with electronic health records and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Compassionate and ethical approach to patient care
