Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population on a fast-paced Surgical Trauma unit
• Manage the unique needs of spinal cord injury patients, including quads, paraplegics, and post-op neurosurgery cases
• Monitor vitals, neurological status, and pain levels to ensure timely intervention
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to create whole-person care plans
• Document accurately and confidently in EPIC while prioritizing patient safety and comfort

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia or compact state (Nursys verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg or Surgical Trauma experience
• EPIC proficiency required
• Candidate profile must include work history, skills checklist, references, certification, and Nursys verification
• No employment gaps greater than 60 days - show us your steady commitment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Medical-Surgical nursing principles
• Experience caring for patients with spinal cord injuries, gunshot wounds, and traumatic brain injuries
• Comfort with EPIC charting and navigating a high-acuity trauma unit
• Strong neurological assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and team needs
